Lead Us Not Into Temptation But Deliver Us From Evil
Matthew 6
Tom simplifies the evils referred to in this prayer in to two camps, the badness outside of us in the world, and the badness inside of us; both of which we can ask of God the father to help us defeat and avoid.  He touches on how important it is to incorporate this part of the prayer into lives daily. The sermon also focuses on how well Jesus our savior perfectly resisted temptation while on earth, and reminds us that He is in our corner, wanting us to ask him for assistance to resist temptation in our own lives.

Forgive us our sins
Matthew 6
Vicky unpacks the verse ‘Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us’. She makes three points stating that our debt against God does exist, it carries a real consequence, and we can never pay it back.  She then goes on to discuss how important it is that we forgive others in light of the radical and gracious forgiveness we have received from God the father for our sins.

Give Us Today Our Daily Bread
Matthew 6
This sermon touches on not just the importance of being reminded to see God as a providor, but how unhealthy it is if that is the only part of the prayer we ever pray to God.   This sermon also elabrates on the plural form the prayer takes when it says 'Give Us our daily bread'.  Abbe suggests Jesus may have had in mind that when we pray this prayer, it is important that we pray it not only for ourselves, but for our brothers and sisters in christ as well.
